How do you think about a career?
When you think about choosing a career, do you consider your interests, values, and things you enjoy learning? Do Like to lift weights? Consider becoming an exercise physiologist. Like to go on vacations? There are lots of careers in the travel and hospitality industry.
Almost anything you like to do can lead to a career you will enjoy. See your counselor for more information!
Another
great way to find out what you like to do is by volunteering. Denver
has volunteer opportunities, from building mountain trails, to working
with animals, to helping the community. In addition to learning new
skills, you'll learn a lot about yourself. Mile High United Way, the Denver Zoo, or Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado are great places to start.
