CAPA - GED Diploma Program
Overview
General Equivalency Development (GED) tests are designed to certify that a student has high school-equivalent knowledge. The GED has four subtests in language arts, math, social studies and science that are taken separately. Our GED + program has an educational goal that all students not only pass the GED but are also informed and prepared for a career or postsecondary education.
Preparation for the GED exam is offered in both teacher-taught and self-guided formats and students can enroll in either day or night programs to work around family and work commitments. McLain works with all students to develop an individualized, instructional study plan that best suits a student’s academic readiness as determined by the GED READY pre-test.
Like our adult diploma program, there are significant resources that support students and career goals.
