GED
Earn your GED with McLain and create your own future!
General Equivalency Development (GED) tests are designed to certify that a student has high school-equivalent knowledge. The GED has four subtests in language arts, math, social studies and science that are taken separately.
The McLain GED + program has an educational goal that all students not only pass the GED but are also informed and prepared for a career or postsecondary education.
McLain has a significant number of resources in the building and relationships in the community to guide students in taking those next steps. McLain works with all students to develop an instructional study plan that best suits their academic readiness as determined by the GED READY pre-test.
