Here's a list I compiled a various places that you can take a virtual field trip! In addition, don't forget you can do Google Street View just about anywhere on earth - perhaps a walking tour for your class?
Schoology Resources:
With the move to remote learning, we wanted to remind you of some great resources available in Schoology. Many of the classes we teach have online courses available aligned to Jeffco units of study and Colorado Academic Standards.
You can now access over 70 full year or semester courses in the Course Masters Group in Jeffco Schoology. Here is a full list of courses. These courses were created recently in partnership with the iLearn Collaborative. and embed Open Educational Resources.
Here is a Tech Tip that will walk you through how to copy the courses to your own Schoology classes. You are also welcome to use the resources and ideas in a Google Classroom. All educators and administrators have access to the Course Masters Group. If you need to join the group, use this access code: QSMFR-3KCKQ
Want to set up Google Voice?
Here are
Instructions on how to do it. (You must use a
PERSONAL gmail account, not your school account) - Also choose a 'Personal' account for your Voice number so it's free. Do not choose 'Business' or you will have to pay. Once it is set up, you can install an app on your phone to place calls through.
Want to video conference with a student?
Google Meets (formerly Google Hangouts) is now available for student use. Just log in with your SCHOOL account, start a meeting and share this information with your student(s):

High school curriculum guides are a great way to homeschool your high schooler without heavy budget constraints. Don’t forget to check into MOOCs as well. They are college courses that can be used for advanced high school course learning.
