General Equivalency Development (GED) tests are designed to certify that you have the high school equivalent knowledge. The GED has four subtests in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science that are taken separately.
The McLain GED + program has an educational goal that all students not only pass the GED but are also informed and prepared for a career or post-secondary education. We have a significant number of resources in the building and relationships in the community that guide students in taking those next steps. We work with all our students to develop an instructional study plan that best suits their academic readiness as determined by the GED READY pre-test.
