Jefferson County Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program

Our Mission: Provide a comprehensive program to support and empower young parents through family health and child development education, teaching parenting practices and skills, early childhood education, and family advocacy.
**If you are currently pregnant or parenting and interested in applying to McLain, please contact Katy Waskey at 303.982.7461
JCAPPP allows students to attend high school full time and receive credit toward their high school diploma while also receiving parenting support. Additionally, students have the opportunity to bring their child to the fully licensed, on-site Early Learning Center while at school.
Upon enrolling in JCAPPP, students will take high school core classes in addition to Labor & Delivery, Child Development, and Family Living & Parenting courses, which are required for all JCAPPP students. A full-time registered nurse is on site to assist with medical concerns and breastfeeding support.
If you are interested in attending the program, please submit an application to the ACHIEVE program if you are under 18 years old or to the CB program if you are 18 or older.
